Vegetable - natural bar soap

Four Starlings' natural soaps are cold-pressed traditionally, by hand. The entire process is pure craft. The Vegetable bar boasts beneficial oils (e.g. cucumber seed and broccoli), provides a perfect cleanse, and nourishes the skin without drying it out. The soap has a savoury smell consisting of coriander, lime, and fennel notes.

Since the Fruit bar soap entered our portfolio, we've been determined to create its farmers' market buddy – a vegetable soap. And here it is in all its glory. It's based on a mixture of best-quality plant-derived oils: coconut, olive, castor, and shea butter. They cause the bar to form a thick, creamy lather that provides a thorough cleanse and nourishes the skin. We've also added tamanu oil to this classic mix – with its distinctly nutty, earthy and, according to some, chicken-broth-like aroma. It's extracted from tamanu tree seeds and presents a broad range of skin benefits. These include e.g. strong regenerating properties, strengthening of the protective skin barrier, soothing discomfort, and retaining moisture within the skin.

The soap also owes all of the above to, quite obviously, veggies. They're included in the formula in the form of oils: cucumber and broccoli seed. With clear (and clean!) conscience, we recommend this vitamin-filled bar not just to wash your hands, but also the entire body. We're positive it's going to repay you with softness, vitality, and a healthy complexion.

It works AND looks amazing. The Vegetable soap flaunts its beautiful, deep, veggie green colour – courtesy of spirulina, green clay, sepiolite, tumeric root extract, and true indigo extract. Put the bar in a soap box to do your bathroom a favour. Even the pickiest of noses will take a liking to our own fragrant blend of lime, coriander, and fennel. It's a truly exquisite piece. And the savoury smell adds to its character.

Recommended use:

Wet the bar under running water, rub a few times in your hands to lather it up, and then wash the entire body.
